A note to the girls
Hello girls!
Well, this is the last day of school before our summer holidays! I cannot believe how quickly the year has gone, despite the closing of school since March! I just want to say thank you for all of your hard work this year at school and at home. I have missed you all these last few months and am sad not to be your teacher anymore...But I am so very proud of you all and I had a great time helping you learn how to read and write, doing Art and PE and Cosmic Yoga and singing...we had a lot of fun!! I hope you all have a lovely, happy, fun and safe summer. And I am looking forward to seeing you in September and having a chat on the yard when I am on yard duty! Be safe, be good and be kind and keep washing your hands well!
Very best wishes,
See you soon,
Ms McQuaid
A Note to Parents
Hello!
Just a few words to say thank you for all of your cooperation this year, especially over the last few difficult months. Thank you for the emails and for keeping me updated on how you were managing. It was frustrating to not be able to work and teach as normal but your emails helped! I hope you all get a well earned rest from things over the summer and that life will be a little less hectic and more peaceful for you all as we move forward. It is certainly great to see things getting back to normal but I do hope we can be sensible about easing restrictions and we can carry some positives from lockdown with us for the future. I for one am hoping to hold on to a slower pace of life which we were forced into since March... life can all too easily turn into a treadmill of commitments, not all of them strictly necessary! I wish you all a lovely summer...I hope you get to enjoy time with your children and loved ones and that life can continue to get better ...keep safe, be kind to yourselves and thanks again for all your support.
Best wishes,
Ms McQuaid
