Reading
- New Core Reader 3 has been put into your child's school bag. Please read Let's Make Pancakes pages 3 -12.
- Revise Core Reader 2 -Read On the Farm and The Duck Pond.
- Revise the sight words in her folder. Play games with the words, spot them in books etc. Make it a challenge and keep it fun!
- Revise the 26 letter names and sounds that we have covered.
- Make short words using the letters in her folder and get your child to sound them out.

- Revise the formation of all letters covered thus far - e,t,o,a,n,i,s,h,r,d,u,l,c,m,f,g,y,p. Your child can also practice writing her name using the letters she knows already and can practice writing the short words she is reading ( see posted list of words to sound out)
- Go with the Flow- I have sent home a home/school links book in your child's folder. Do as many pages as you wish in this booklet.
Maths
- Write the numbers 1,2,3.
- Count forwards and backwards up to 10. Spot numbers around the house ( in books, on food packages etc.)
- Count sets of objects up to 10.
- Play board games involving number like Snakes and Ladders, Snap.
